Make your phone smarter with the HIKMICRO thermal camera.
Thermal imaging cameras are really useful for spotting injuries in horses and pets because they pick up on heat changes, like inflammation or poor circulation, before you see swelling or limping.
They detect early inflammation non-invasively. Injured tissues heat up from extra blood flow, showing as red or yellow “hot spots” on the scan, often before lameness kicks in. Great for tendons, joints, or muscles in horses, like catching tendon lesions early. Especially effective at pinpointing the site of an abscess in a horse's hoof.
For pets, same idea dogs or cats with hidden joint issues or soft-tissue strains light up in those color maps. It flags things like arthritis or sprains without poking or stressing them out.
It’s quick, no needles or drugs, just a scan in minutes. Helps track healing too, by comparing before-and-after temps.
And it’s preventative: spot imbalances or stress points in performance animals, so you rest them before a big problem begins.
Images or videos can be taken and saved to your smart phone or downloaded to your computer. They can also be sent to your vet, farrier or medical practioner to assist in their decision making in what action should be taken.
